14/02 – Latest information about the sinking of the road access to Sierra Nevada ski station

The following is the translation of the official notification issued by the regional authorities:

The collapse at kilometre 31.5 of the A-395 R1, at the Pradollano access point, has led to the complete closure of the road for safety reasons from the turn-off to the upper-middle area of the residential development to the entrance to the underground car park.
Traffic in the Pradollano residential area will be alternating uphill or downhill depending on traffic conditions, according to the Monachil Town Council.
According to the Traffic Civil Guard, the A-395 road from Granada to Pradollano will be closed from km 23 (Dornajo) except for essential workersand users with verifiable hotel reservations.

The resort will open on 15/02/26 with limited capacity for residents and guests only.

Online ski pass sales are closed.
Ski passes can only be purchased at ticket offices and cash machines.
There will be no pedestrian ticket sales.
