We have held a physical and professional presence in Sierra Nevada since December 1996 and are extremely familiar with the "ins and outs" of the resort and what is has to offer its visitors.

We provide unbeatable advice on accommodation options to source appropriate lodgings for our clients on the basis of our own personal experience on the options available rather than purely quoting from a factsheet. With so many factors to consider relating to location, amenties, size, parking, sleeping arrangements etc. as well as budget, we are proud to hold an ever increasing returning client base as a result of solid, honest and accurate information.*

In the absence of any major UK tour operator, Sierra Essence currently offers a unique in-resort representative service in Sierra Nevada with staff at hand to assist with any requirements you may have during your stay.

We provide quotations with no obligation to proceed whatsoever and should you find a cheaper option, we urge you to let us know as our solid relations with the local suppliers often results in our ability to equal or even better the amount.

With 20 years of experience living and working in Spain, The Canary Islands and Latin America, we have obtained a status of integration with the local culture on almost an un-matched scale. Over the years, we have been of assistance to foreign visitors relating to property purchases, guided hikes and other adventure activities in Sierra Nevada, orientational trips highlighting areas "off the beaten track" as well countless personal experiences in re-creating his our lives here through buying vehicles, properties, getting married, banking, setting up business etc.etc. We speak fluent Spanish as a result of the years spent living here which is a prime asset in getting things done!

For this reason, Sierra Essence now offers a unique and flexible series of personalised services that foreigners visiting the Granada area may call upon for assistance and avoid annoying complications through essentially a lack of understanding and experience of how things work over here.

We operate out of the equipment hire shop "Intersport Rio Sport" in the Plaza de Andalucia in the Sierra Nevada ski resort, just 20 metres from the entrance to the Al-Andalus Gondola.

We can be found here every morning from when they open at 9am until at least 9.30am.

PLEASE ASK FOR THE "BRITISH SKI CENTER" IN ORDER TO AVOID CONFUSION WITH THE SHOP'S OWN SKI SCHOOL!

After 9.30am, if we are not in the shop, we will be making our way up the mountain to Borreguiles and our central meeting point for all of our ski and snowboard classes.

We are available each day in our equipment hire shop Intersport Rio Sport. Please ask for a member of the British Ski Center to avoid confusion with the shop's own Spanish ski school!
